All Your Suspicions Confirmed

Okay. I am now going to out myself as a Crazy Animal Lady in a way I've never publicly admitted before. Although I have my fingers crossed that Ollie might find a new home with a friend of Gwen's, she needs to figure out various logistics and variables before agreeing to take on a new member of the family. Totally understandable. In fact, that's how I know it's a serious possibility. Here he is, His Supreme Cuddliness.

And, just in case you were under the impression that Bella and Fred were somehow slightly less adored with Ollivander in the house, here they are in their Halloween costumes.

She's a chicken; he's a lobster. They're Surf 'n Turf. Get it? Get it? I've never done costumes before. I've officially crossed over into some kind of line here, but the costumes were on sale and cost $7 a piece. I just couldn't resist.

I can't tell from the pic, but is Fred's costume actually on him, or just draped over him? Either way, I'm impressed, because neither Beaker nor Sloopy would allow that.

Ollie is totally cute and I love that you can wear him as a scarf. But no more cats in our household -- it would disrupt the delicate human/feline ratio.

I have to say, Fred and Bella look less than happy to be dressed like Surf and Turf.
Gaby looked at the picture this morning and pointed at Bella and went "cock a doodle doo"" and pointed at Fred and said "snap snap" and then asked if we could buy Sally a costume. See what you've started?

And I want that cat. Wants! I had Ernie all convinced we needed the cat this morning, we were even figuring out where to put the litter box. Then i remembered my mother is seriously allergic, and won't come visit anymore if we get a cat.

Still. Want the cat!

(also -- becky, you should totally dress up the cats for your party on saturday!)

I would like a copy of this Surf and Turf pix please....

Next month when I go to card club and everyone whips out their pocket sized photo album of their grandchildren or pregnant daughters, I can share my granimals!

(And no, this is NOT a plea for grandchildren!) Yet.....

Fred's costume is loosely Velcroed just under his chin. It doesn't stay on long. Bella will happily sit around in hers, though.

He's cute for sure but I swear Michael would divorce me if I brought home a cat. Love the Surf N' Turf! Mwah!

Ollie is awesome! Did he find a home yet?

This is the best "adopt-a-cat" campaign I have ever seen. Believe me, I'm TRYING desperately to convince Aaron that Oliver needs a friend. Named Ollie. I love his scarfiness.
