Grinning

I got the most exciting package today when I got home from work: a hard drive with all of our wedding pictures. It took me almost two hours to look at them all, and I was grinning so much my face actually hurt afterwards They. Are. Awesome. Joel loves them, too.

Thank you, Anne. If you were here, I would jump up and down excitedly in your personal space. ;)

*taps foot impatiently*

Are we going to see any of them? Or are you just teasing us? :)

Maybe. :p

I'm shooting a big wedding in Boston this holiday weekend, and Anne has asked me not to upload her unedited take online. But there will be a little show-and-tell one way or another sooner or later. Also? I have to attack my chins in PhotoShop before I show anyone anything.

But I haven't gotten around t it yet because of work. On Thursday, I had a massive glitch with the new live broadcasting system at work.

We're live-streaming candidates' endorsement interviews to the web. The software is supposed to automatically save the footage and loop it on the web for viewers wanting to watch after the fact, but that didn't happen.

Luckily, I had the whole thing on tape, but I had to log and capture the entire 60 minutes, which is memory intensive, and my laptop kept hiccupping, which meant I had to start all over. Which meant I had to rewind the tape to find the exact place I started. But it was just two old guys in ties talking. So My only indication that I was close to the right stop as I wound the tape was, like, when one guy touched his nose.

I was actually gnashing my teeth and rending my garments. I didn't writhe on the floor, but that was next. I finally finished at 4 a.m. as I begged for the sweet release of death.
