Wow, you can practically hear the crickets chirping as everyone tiptoes slowly backward away from the crazy bow hat lady . Attempt to be funny=FAIL.

Angie, I have not had a second until right now to read your last two entries. YAY for July 2009! Rip it up, we shall! And the "oh, my" post almost made me pee my pants.
It wasn't a failed attempt at being funny, I just missed the previous post with all of my cat rehoming drama. :-)
But I'm really glad you added the 2nd picture, which is totally cute and hilarious, because the first picture of you is kind of upsetting. You just look so... confused and distraught, I guess is what I'd call that. You poor baby. If it's any consolation, I would've freaked out if my sister had expected me to wear a bow hat to get ice cream too. Although my reaction would've been more on the "oh HELL no!" side, not on the "run away!" side. But you know, it's all on that fight/flight spectrum of emotions.
Hee. In my sister's defense, she was trying to do the good right thing. I wasn't supposed to wear it to Cold Stone; her plan was for me to look at it and say, "Oh, cute!" and then we'd leave it at the beach house. No ice cream for the bow hat. She tried, it was just the combination of factors.
Then again, a catering order may or may not have been allegedly thrown in the general direction of my head three weeks before her wedding three years ago, so... That's the best thing about being sisters, at least for Amanda and me. We try to give each other a "free pass" once in a while. ;)
It was funny! But also reminded me of those moments leading up to our wedding where i had that exact same look on my face before I fled a room--or the beach at the rehersal... or well there were too many of them! Here's hoping there aren't too many more of those in your future! :) Can NOT believe you're getting married in 3 weeks!! Where did the time go?!!!!!!!
Ha -- no, no crickets, just didn't see the post... until you added the RSS feed! Please note that I saw this new post immediately. Yay for technology! NO FAIL!
