Behold the wonder of the "Whoopie Pie." The...lol. Behold the wonder of the "Whoopie Pie." They are a Lancaster County specialty. They are two cakey things (usually chocolate, shown above in a variety of pumpkin spice, vanilla, chocolate and red velvet). The filling is a somewhat bland but somewhat sweet cream made with lard.
